Hi,

Looking to upgrade my current 1150 setup in sig, so it would be a new board, CPU and MB. I'm a bit out of the loop with what's good at the moment or what's due soon. I primarily play games so is there something available now that would give me a decent bump in performance without spending a fortune? I assume I would need to look at DDR4 as well. No set budget but it would be to go with a 980ti/Titan X or 1080.

Thanks

Not that im aware.

Kabylake replaces skylake and broadwell-E for X99.

Im not sure any of those will be a big enough jump over what you have now if its only gaming you do.

Like Stulid said, it's a waste of time and money. Skylake offers very little over Haswell/Devils Canyon. From what I have seen about Kabylake so far it also look's disappointing. I am probably going to have this mobo/cpu/ram combo longer than any other combo I have ever had.
