Hellloooo, I've had this set up for 2 years and I want to upgrade for gaming purposes.

I've got a 144hz monitor and I find the 4gb 480 and i3 6100 combo doesn't give me the frames I want.

The MOBO restricts the Ram to 2333 just FYI. Plus the MOBO doesn't let me the overclock the CPU.

I'm tempted to get a new MOBO, new CPU, new RAM (3000mhz) and new GPU (Vega 64). Suggestions welcome? At first I thought I could just plonk a Vega64 in there but I figure the i3 6100 will then be bottlenecking it all. I'd love some advice. Plus, do you think JUST adding VEGA64 would be a good idea?

Asus H110M-PLUS Motherboard (Socket 1151, H110 Express, DDR4, S-ATA 600, Micro ATX)

Intel BX80662I36100 Intel Core i3 6100 Skylake Dual-Core 3.7 GHz Processor

HyperX FURY 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 2133 MHz DDR4 CL14 UDIMM Memory Kit (Skylake Compatible) – Black

Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive – Black

MSI Radeon RX 480 Gaming X 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express

XFX XT Series 500W 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply

Intel K chips are the only ones able to Overclock, Maybe see if you can pick up a decent K chip second hand...

I don't really have a budget.

I want to spend money to see a big increase if possible. I'm not on a budget. I just want to spend it as sensibly as possible :)

guessing its 1080p 144hz then ?

if so, i5 9600k , z390 board, use your ram as speed wouldn't effect overal performance to much and Vega 56 :D

with vega 64- would need a good cooler and overclock to 5ghz all cores... thing would fly at 1080p gaming

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £872.02 (includes shipping: £11.10)

you'd also get BFV and Killing Ground 2 with intel CPU and 3 free AAA games from Vega card. £120 right there...

if you get a kabylake processor you can use 2400mhz ram and as for overclocking, it likely would have some options, but its not a gamers board, so they wont be as advanced.
