hi guys I have had this pc for quite some time

I am happy with it it overall I have squeezed in 8 fans and a watercooler for the cpu but I am getting low frame rate in certain circumstances the frame rate is dropping to 40ish and its not running smooth what would you guys recomend upgrading that would give most bang for buck also is it worth me trying to overclock the cpu ram etc
 
To better understand.

What resolution do you play at? 1080p 1440p or 4k. What games and what settings.

It doesn't specify how much memory you've, that's will be a good starting point.

Have you run benchmarks to see if any of your products are being throttled? I'm going to assume it will either a memory or GPU issue.
 
I dont know more than what it says on there 16GB DDR4 3200MHz i use 3840 x 2160 and its 4 k I play assetto corsa to learn tracks forgive my lack of knowledge but I use the computer as a tool for driving so computer stuff its not my lingo have all of the settings high except for things like smoke dont want to lower the settings it runs ok with these settings but when I add things like rain then it struggles i will have to do some research and find out about throttling cause I have not done this neither know what it is but sounds good to me being a car nut:)
