Upgrade Advice

Hi,

I inherited a gaming pc from a friend

which has the following:

AMD ryzen 3 2200G with radeon vega 8 CPU with IGPU

AMD wraith stealth CPU air cooler

corsair vengeance LPX ddr4 300mhz 16GB (2x8GB) RAM

hyperX fury 120gb SSD solid state drive

seagate 500gb HDD hard drive

gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard

corsair CX450M PSU power supply

I want to run warzone and gta... what would I need to upgrade to have it running at 60 fps or more?

I am completely new to pc gaming so any advice would help.

Hi.

An rx 580 or 1650 super should give you 60fps at 1080 high detail but there is a shortage of graphics cards and they are overpriced.

That's a good basis for expansion. You need a GPU - good luck with that - and could benefit from a CPU upgrade - something like a Ryzen 3600.

Do you have an appropriate monitor? Most monitors and TVs cap at 60 Hz.

yeah I have an msi optix g24c4

which I use for my series X

I'm definitely looking too upgrade both my CPU and GPU in the future to keep up with current games, so hopefully the GPU shortage is over soon haha.

Depending upon the new gpu you want/can get you might need to also get a bigger power psu as well.
