Hi all, I built my own system last year after not playing with this stuff for years, It was a budget build to start with but now it needs help...current specs are
Ryzen 3 2200G
MSI Pro Carbon B450
Samsung 970 EVO M.2 500gb for a boot drive
Viper Steel 32GB 3200MHz... this was an upgrade from the initial 8GB
AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB...upgrade also from using the one on the cpu
WD 2TB storage drive...also added

I primarily play Warzone with this and it's beginning to suck, with the GPUs still expensive I was going to upgrade the CPU but I wasn't sure how good and pricy I needed to go.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

What kind budget you were thinking and how long you want PC to stay valid for new games?
That board could take latest Zen3 models.

Anyway 6 core is basically entry level:
Consoles have 8 core (/16 thread) Zen2 CPU making sure game developers have incentive to find ways/new things to do with lots of cores.

I would like it to work for a couple years before a total rebuild it needed, I was hoping to spend maybe £300 on a cpu for now then a gpu when the market gets a bit better,

+1 for 5600X
a solid CPU for games, will last for a long while.
You will need to update motherboard BIOS
