Upgrade Advice

I am looked to upgrade to 4k

spec atm:

CPU R7 3700x
GPU 3060ti
MTR X570
PWR RM850
RAM 32gb 3200
MTR 27’’ 144hz 1080

could i please get any recommendations to where i should upgrade to play new titles at max settings with a solid stable frame rate, aswell as a monitor to pair

Possibly something like a 4080, but we'll see

I might suggest going to 1440P first rather than 4k as 4K is super hard to push and 1440P will be a noticeable upgrade.

is it worth just upgrading the whole system if i want to hit the 4k mark

Up to you. Do you really want 4K?

You would need to upgrade everything to get good 4K FPS but you could buy the GPU and monitor and see how your system performs.

yeah im that guy, i was just seeing if i could with what i have now, but i will buy a whole new system its fine, on that note what would be the specs you would choose , there’s no budget

Do you have to have a 4K gaming machine now or can you wait? 13th gen Intel and AM5 are so close to launching.

Absolute nonsense you need a new machine to get decent fps at 4k a more powerful gpu is all you need.

i saw on the majority of yt vids they used a b550 ans a r5 3600, shoes i wait for the new cards ?
