Upgrade advice

Hey all,

I'm currently using a 5600x with a 5700xt, was thinking of either grabbing:

Ryzen 7600 (then upgrade to a 9800x3d at some point next year)
7800xt
Asrock B650 livemixer
32gb of ddr5 6400mhz

Or just grab a 7800x3d now and forget about it. I mainly play competitive FPS games like cs2 and apex legends but do play some triple A sp titles on occasion. Max resolution I game at is 1080p. What would people advise?

I had been looking at the 7900gre tbf, worth the extra £60-70 then?

I presume the new chipsets have a fair bit of difference then?

Thanks for this looks like I'll go with a 7900 gre then! Would upgrading to a 5700x3d be worth chucking in as a stop gap, then look at grabbing a new board/9800x3d next year? My understanding is the x3d gives quite a boost in CPU limited/competitive titles?

Do you have something useful you'd do with it afterwar

Probably give it to my brother to upgrade his 3600
