Hi guys, just need bit of an advise on upgrading current rig. It's an old rig.

i5 2300
8gb crosair ram
Asus P8z68 mobo
Crosair 650w psu
And Radeon RX590

Tbh I just, want to upgrade cpu mobo and ram. Happy to keep everything else. Have monitor and case.

Like to go down Amd route. Budget isn't the best around £350ish. Would love to spend more, at the moment can't do so.

Any advise?

If you shop around you could get

Ryzen 3600
MSI B450 MAX motherboard
Team Group Vulcan TUF 3600mhz

That would be a massive performance upgrade for your system and probably the route a lot would go. From OCUK it would cost just over £380 I think..

I'm guessing you have access to Members Market? Could check there

Just browsed this section of the forum, hardly ever do. And the items you've mentioned, gets mentioned a lot around here.

Just done a quick check on ocuk webaite and goes just over the £350 budget but can live with it.

I do have access to members market. But hardly ever go there. Last time I sold purchased there was a very long time ago. (few years ago)

Is that the best bang for buck?

That list I've mentioned I would say is the best you'll get in your budget and it's all highly recommended... I'm going for the Ryzen 3600 next week

Stick a thread in the Wanted section you may have some bargains and save yourself some cash

Thanks for that.

1 last thing what's the difference between

Team group dark t-force 3200mhz
Team group vulcan tuf 3600mhz

Faster mhz speeds, there is a video on YouTube that shows you will actually get more FPS gains and a smoother experience with the extra mhz... Definitely worth the extra £12 or so
