Im currently looking at the below components for my new build. I just want to make sure that
1)All the components should work together etc all be happy or if anyone see any conflicts, even if its size of components etc and
2) i currently have This PSU and want to make sure its enough.

New PC bits are
RAM
CPU
MB
CPU Cooler

The other parts of this machine I already have are
Gigabyte 3D Aurora GZ-FSCA1-AN Black
BFG Nvidia 7800 GTX OC
Wireless Card
Plextor DVD +/- RW
2 x 19" Dell Utra Sharps
4 / 5 USB devices inc the mouse, keyboard, webcam
Front Panal SD Card Reader.

Ive used some of the online PSU calc and Ive been gettign 1000w PSU which I think is just crazy along with some other ppl Ive chatted to. Any help would be great.

Thank you.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

you should remove the case link as it goes to a competitor,

Oooops (changed) thanks for that.
The CPU cooler i think is somethign Im going for on the base that a mate has one and Im v impressed with how quiet it is, my current standard x2 3800+ Cooler is like a small plane taking off.

The CPU could be swapped for the Q6600 and save you a fair bit of money.
What is the performance like on the Q6600 in comparison to the Q6700 that I have, Im really trying to future proof this build for a cpl of years.

As for the motherboard. I was looking at this because I was told 680i is the stuff to look at and seeing as I'm going to be putting Vista Ultimate 64Bit on it I was told these chipsets are what works with Vista the best, although I could be and probably am V WRONG :p

Thanks Semi for all your help, Ill have a look in the forum and I'm browsing the Abit site now at the moment see what I can learn from there. Trying to figure out the major difference between the Q6600 and the Q6700 excpet for clock speed and I cant see any for now
