Upgrade Bug!!!!

koolance fittings look like this:

and this is what i mean by qdcs for the gpu block

one before and one after the block, you can isolate the gpu from the loop very easily and change them

the qdcs have different connectors at the end of them. for mine i picked them with one end having a compression and the other end having the screw-in
you can have both ends as compressions and mount them in-line if you don't want them sticking out on a block like what i did

im in brum

It's tempting, I'll play around with the spec and see what I can do. Don't really want to spend more than £350.

Don't suppose you'd help with the build would you? Happy to try on my own, but doesn't stop the nerves.

yea, i can help, you far away though?

you need to buy both. female and maie connectors

yea, it's an expensive investment, but well worth it though...especially as you're considering getting a 2nd gpu.

and building a loop is really not that difficult (as long as you're sensible about it)

dont do this!

cant close the loop this early (or at least i've never)
you need to open the top cover whilst the pump sucks the coolant through, until the whole loop has coolant

Still going ahead with this snips?

I'm rebuilding my loop soon (my pump is knackered & want a new colour scheme) so can post up some pictures video's to help if you need some guidance, I'm also down Birmingham side should you need a hand.

Oh fantastic news, thanks :D

Yes, I'm still going ahead with it. I've been putting it off for ages as I've basically chickened out - and not had the money.

I've been looking for quite sometime however and I cannot put it off anymore. I need to get it done - and yes, pics would be amazing. I've done no planning yet either, so they may prove useful.

What's the thickest rad you can get in the S2?

I've started planning my loop and I've got a question. Which would be better:

1: XSPC D5 Photon 170 Reservoir/Pump Combo
2: EK DCP 2.2 Pump (12v) and Bitspower Z-Multi 150mm Water Tank

With #1, I would be looking to create a metal plate which would attach to the radiator allowing me to mount the pump/res to the plate at the front of the case

With #2, I would be looking to have the pump at the back of the case and the res at the front, again, mounted to a metal plate.

i think the dcp 2.2 would be adequate for a parvum s2.0
but a dcp 4.0 would be best.

my dcp 2.2 was good enough for a 240mm ek xtx, ek 7990 block and ek supremacy

and yea, mount in in the psu section of the case methinks. shoggy sandwich would be a good shout
