Ok guys another check before I buy thread.
My previous rig blew up about a month ago.

Motherboard failure on a Abit AN8 Fatality, so stuck now on a backup 3GHz Pentium 4 at the moment.
Now that I have some time to build a new rig, just have some questions if you can kindly help me out.

I am left with a case, Antec P160 which I am very happy with.
Graphics card 8600GT, again happy with.
Power supply Enermax 485W noisetaker, would like to keep but not sure if it is up to it now?
So basically require new motherboard, cpu and ram, and fancy a dabble with a SSD :)
I have no idea to be honest which ram I should be getting, but nice high performance, with price consideration also.
Also would love to get a high overclock on the cpu as others have achieved, 4GHz+ ?

Does this look all compatible hardware?
Thanks in advance!

Just realised I can get a Retail Cpu of the same, that comes with its own cooler.
For around the same price!
Is the cooler supplied very quiet?

Yeah just hoping for the new setup to be a bit quieter than last.
Bit fed up with the constant drone :)
The ram.. do I go for cheap or expensive?
Doesn't seem to be a lot in it.

Ok decided on the ram,
G.Skill RipJawsX 2x2GB. Just because their blue like the mobo. :p
The only question I have now is, will the power supply run this lot lol

Will 485W power supply be enough?
