Hi Guys,
Just wanted a double check on compatibility (most importantly the SSD with my MB chipset) for the following upgrades- or any better VFM ideas.

Budget is upto 750ish but the less the better. Aiming to improve gaming for latest titles mostly. Monitor is Dell 24" 1200p - will probably upgrade later this year to 1440p.

Current spec is as follows:
Corsair HX850 psu
Intel 2600k @ 4ghz
8gb gskill
Gigabyte p67ub4 MB
Gigabyte GTX580 SOC
Intel 128GB 510 series SSD.
Lian-li v2100 case.

I can't really see any value in going to X99 ATM so was thinking of buying the following:
Samsung 850 EVO 500gb - to have as 2nd HDD for game installs.
OCUK value 980ti
Zowie ZA11- desperately need a new mouse!
 
That's all fine.

Might be worth checking the motherboard bios is on the latest.

Getting that cpu upto a higher speed (add a larger cooler if needed) will also be a nice boost.
 
Perfect, thank you Stulid. Will double check for bios updates.

I think i can probably push the cpu a bit higher witht the cooler i've got so will try that too.

Ordering asap!
