Upgrade Components

I currently have a I5 3570k 16GB 1333MHZ & ASUS Strix 970, looking to upgrade my cpu and MB to a I7 6700k and ASUS Z170 pro gaming board with 32 GB of Corsair Vengance 3200mhz, does the 3200MHZ memory work with the Z170 MB.

Yes, 3200 RAM will work.

Any reason why you're looking to upgrade?

the i5 3570k should still be good for another couple of years unless you're using CPU intensive programs.

Because of that 10% increase in IPC on synthetic benchmarks, and hyperthreading.

I was on the i5 3570K and was thinking about upgrading to the latest generation but after a bit of research i didn't bother. I did however change my processor for the i7 version (straight swap) and gave myself a nice little boost.
