I'm a bit tight for money, so to fund a new gaming rig I'll need to sell off my HTPC. Move the gaming rig bits to the HTPC, and buy new bits for the gaming rig. Also sell 1900XT.
HTPC
AMD 4200x2, Scythe Ninja, 2GB XMS RAM, ATI X300. M-Audio Revo 5.1
Gaming
AMD 4400x2, Scythe Ninja, 2GB XMS RAM, ATI X1900XT. Asus MVP-32 Deluxe (will use digital out, apparently spdif is bit perfect/asio - the M-Audio isn't)
I wouldn't think quad core is worth paying for, I'd prefer a faster dual core Intel C2D. Just need mobo, CPU, RAM, videocard. Any recommendations for specific components? Scythe Ninja in the HTPC is revision 2, will that fit the new Intel boards?
