Upgrade DDR4 Motherboard to DDR5 Motherboard or not?

I bought a MSI Z690 Tomahawk DDR4 motherboard when I built my new system 2 years a go, as DDR5 was ridiculously expensive at the time, and got a good deal on the Tomahawk motherboard but I am thinking of moving over to DDR5.

I have found the, MSI MEG Z690 UNIFY, for £225, and was thinking of getting this, half off the original price, but should I wait?

Seems like a pointless move - it will still need to replaced when New CPUs are released.

I agree. At this point I would wait for Arrow lake and then upgrade to DDR5

Also have money from my, Eternally Delayed GPU Fund, sitting doing nothing which makes it worse, since decided to wait for the RTX5000 series.

I dunno what the rest of your system spec is.

But I agree with the above comments.. It would be a very expensive upgrade for very little real world gain.
If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, buy a better monitor or some better speakers or something.
