Evening,

I've been asking a few questions over the past couple of days and I've half decided on what I'm going to spend money on to upgrade my current system.

Based on a £500 budget for upgrade which of the options below would be the best (or suggest another). This has to include a monitor.

Current Spec:
OS: Windows 7 64bit
Case: Cool Master Lite
Motherboard: M4A77TD
PSU: 500W
RAM: DDR3 8Gb (4 x 2Gb)
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 925 2.8Ghz
GPU: PNY GTX460 1Gb
Boot HDD: 500Gb Seagate
Store/Games HDD: 1TB WD Green

1st option. Get new mobo and go SLI GTX460

LG W2363D 23" TRUE 120Hz 3D Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black
£167.99

MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £117.59

MSI 990FXA-GD65 AMD 990 FX (AMD AM3/AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £115.99

Antec TruePower New Modular 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £85.99 (£71.66) £85.99 (£71.66)

Total About £500

2nd option

LG W2363D 23" TRUE 120Hz 3D Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black
£167.99

MSI GeForce GTX 570 OC Twin FrozR III Power Edition 1280MB GDDR5 £254.99

Antec TruePower New Modular 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £85.99 (£71.66) £85.99 (£71.66)

Total £509

So SLI or not. I see that the GTX460 in SLI will give slightly better performance than the 570 alone but think i might be missing something.

The LG monitor isnt a definate but it seems good for the price. I'm not set on a 3d monitor but the 120hz is appealing as i play fps. It will mainly be used for gaming so the viewing angle is a non issue.

Any other suggestions are welcome. Everyone has be extremely helpful.

Cheers
Ben
