Got my Dell Inspiron 7737 out of the box for a make over as i was going to throw . I was thinking about buying a new laptop do i really need one . Been looking on Dell U.K website for the last couple of days and notice now that laptop systems don`t even come with a standard DVD ROM

I only use for Word , Excel , Photoshop and works a treat

Now ive upgraded to a Crucial BX200 Solid State Drive and also upgraded the Screen to 17.3" HD+ WLED True-Life (1080p) FHD 1920 X 1080P touch screen and the image quailty is outstanding and the brightness is good too , even better then some 4K screens ive seen


So ive upgraded mine to save money :D

New keyboard + parmrest

Windows 10 64 bit operating system ( Installed No Problems ) :D

4th Gen i7-4500U processer ( 4M Cache up to 3.0 )
17.3" HD+ WLED True-Life (1080p) FHD 1920 X 1080P
Nvidia GeForce GT 750M 2GB DDR5
Backlit UK/Irish Qwerty Keyboard
Crucial BX200 Solid State Drive
16GB Dual Channel DDR 3 1600MHz 8GB X 2

4 Cell Lithium 58WHr Battery
8x DVD+/-RW

So is it possible to upgrade to faster memory 16GB Dual Channel ? from OC UK ?

you will not see any real world gains by upgrading to faster memory.stick with the 16GB that you have

Very very minimal gains around 1 to 2 percent but that will only been seen on GPU Accelerated Effects only in terms of Photoshop
 
If its not broken don`t fix it , thats still a very good spec and should easy handle photoshop with ease , i dont think you will see much improvement upgrading the memory to 2133mhz modules
