Upgrade Dell PERC H700 card with Ubuntu OS

Bit of a long shot.

I've got a Dell PERC H700 RAID card that I need to update.

Dell only provide updates for Windows and RHEL....

Any ideas how I manage to update the card ?

This may not help at all but it's worth a go..

In Device Manager find the card and right click to select 'properties'. Under the 'details' tab select 'hardware' from the drop down box and copy the vendor hardware ID info and search Google with it. If you're lucky they've used a common chip that you might be able to find drivers for.

Found a way to sort it. Used the LSI MegaCLI tool to do it. Rather hard as err, there isn't much documentation.
