Was just going to order:

Q6600
Abit IP35 Pro
Corsair 4Gb
8800GTS 320Mb
150Gb Raptor

This is to upgrade my rig which is in the sig below.

Do you reckon it will run Crysis?

Also the big dilemma is the graphics card, do I get one of these 2900 pro's or a cheap card to tie me over until the new Nvidia cards in November?

I have the upgrade dilemma's, the rest of the spec is fine.

Get cheaper RAM and hard disk (OCuk 8500 and WD 5000AAKS springs to mind) and then you can get a 8800 GTS 640MB which <speculation> will be much more able to cope with Crysis <\speculation>

any reason, part from the money burning a hole in you're pocket, you cant wait til crysis is out and check the benchmarks to see what you need ?

take it you're running vista 64bit or it wont see all 4gb.

That stuff seems to come out at £763.62.

Personally I would have went for:

Raptors are over-rated, I'd much rather have the AAKS. The graphics problem however as you mentioned could be an issue, but I'd still get a 8800 GTX. The 8800 GTX will still play any game on high setting for probably the next year, so I don't see any need to hold out for the new ones in Q1/Q2 which is 4 - 6 months away, and chances are when you get to then, Nvidia would have new out 6 months after that so it doesn't end :). Abit IP35 Pro is seriously expensive, and unless you really want the features, then I would just get a DS3R or a regular IP35.
