Hey all.
I'm debating whether or not to *upgrade* my rig right now, and you's guessed it, another quad vs. dual thread but with a slight twist really. I'm not so much interested in those being directly compared rather do I even need to upgrade is the question.
I play games. That's what my PC is mainly built around, everything else... well, its not a high priority.
My Current Setup:
2140 w/ thermalright ultra 120 extreme
asus p5k deluxe
4x1gb crucial ballistix 8500
8800GTX
Res: 1920x1200
Games:
Age of Empires 3 + all expansions
C&C 3 + expansion (when its out)
Team Fortress 2
those are the games I play *a lot*
CoD4 (not often)
Unreal Tournament 3 (could become one of the ones I play a lot)
Crysis (would lower the res for more frames)
Supreme Commander + Expansion (very rare)
ET: Quake Wars (not often)
ofcourse these games could change, but the top 3 are ones i play a serious amount of.
So what d'ya guys think?
