Currently my system (see sig) is running brilliant but am now feeling that i need to upgrade as it seem to struggle running some games at native resolutions (1900*1200),
Stalker clear sky,GTA4,CRYSIS,CALL OF JUAREZ DX10 and i have to drop aa and af on some other titles in order to run at native, also starting take longer when i try do some encoding unable to use pc for 1hr or so while encoding or ripping, been specing up a core i7 rig and i almost hit the buy button, but had doubts if i really need to go down this path,
my question is should go gpu upgrade, or cpu
which one would be the better option?.

cpu is fine, well apart from GTA where a quad would come in handy :p

but the biggest boost would be to get a new gfx card
what os are you using.? and do you have a budget in mind.?

:D

Personally I'd chuck in another 8800GTX. They can be had for under £100 second hand. That'd be a pretty good VFM upgrade.

have triple boot win xp,vista and win 7, don't really have a budget, but don't want throw too much money for upgrade either.hmmm £600 quid max think should be enough?

i had thought about adding another gtx but would i really see i signifcant difference?,then there fact that if source a second hand one how long before it pops it's clogs, currently on my second gtx :).
