Upgrade: do I need a new PSU?

Hi all,
I'm looking into upgrading my PC and I was wondering if I'll need to replace my power supply - a 4 year old Enermax Liberty 500W ELT500AWT. I'm looking at upgrading to something along the lines of an Athlon II x4 620 and a 5770, with the possibility of adding a second GPU in six months or so. Will my old PSU be up to the task? And are there any age-related issues I need to be aware of?

Hi,

ATI reccommends that you should have a 600w PSU for a 5770 crossfire setup so i would consider getting a new psu.

Your enermax will be more than enough for 1 card and the new CPU.

I reckon you'll be fine with your current PSU even with crossfire! im hopin to get away with using my OCZ 450 with 5770 crossfire setup

Yes you should be fine im running a 5770 on a 3yr old 375w dell psu =P
