upgrade? do i need one? ddr3, is it worth it?

as if there werent enough questions in the titles im going to ask some more.
my current pc spec is:
evga 780i sli motherboard
intel core 2 quad q6600
2 x 1gig ocz 1066mhz sli ram (but sli ram isnt supported for 4 dimms, silly me)
nvidia 8800 ultra
and other components i arent worried about
so if i were to upgrade my pc (to play games of course)
what would i need to upgrade? and what do you reccomend as a good upgrade? should i upgrade to ddr3 or wait a little bit?

yes i was thinking about trading my 780i for an asus p5b pro and 2 X 2gb partiot ram 800mhz

yes i have overclocked, and why 2 ati cards? how much of a prtformance increse will i get from crossfire? why not sli ?

its a dell 1920 x 1200 monitor, and i dont think a slight increase justifies 350 pound

the ultra is 768 and psu is 720 watt. i was thinking of chaning the motherboard from the 780i to an asus one as i dont particularly like the 780i and i like the express gateway
