upgrade enquire from p4

Hi,

My current spec is

p4 2.4 1gb ram 9800pro graphics and an msi 865pe neo2 motherboard

I will need to replace all I think.What would be worth getting?I know the gc would be 4870 and 4gb ddr3 ram but mb and cpu I am not sure.

Any help would be appreciated.

are you ever going to crossfire/sli

what do you use your pc for

Budget is up to 800.
I would like to crossfire.
Gaming online.
Would like for it to last a long time just like the p4.

Close as I could get (with a separate branded PSU). Couldn't fit KB + Mouse in, sorry.

Motherboard is expensive, but offers full speed PCI-E lane Crossfire (for the future).

Forgot to say that i have full tower case monitor keyboard mouse hard drive .

E8500 is a fast 2 core CPU (slightly better for gaming right now)
Q6600 is a moderatly fast 4 core CPU (better future proofing)
E2180 is a budget/mainstream dual core - still decent speed but not a patch on the other 2.
