Just wondering if £60 would seroiusly improve my graphics?? I have a semprom at 2.3ghz 512mb ram and 6800 Nvidia card (GT? but DDR2) with the core o/c'd about + 30% and the memory 10%.

I notice now less than 60 quid will get me 8600's or a 9500gt ddr2 512mb...

What performance difference would a) the card deliver and b) my system give i.e. will my system strangle the new card? PCIEx16 slot BTW

anyone got a link to some nice charts with graphics card performance in some different games.

Also do the new card use direct x10 and does that only work with vista? (I'm XP)

Best thing for your spec would be a second hand GT 8800, if you can find one for £60, even a second hand GT7900 for £30 or less would be a big improvement.

you can pick up a 8600gt for 45 pounds new if you look around.

Is the 4670 a ATI card? Are they better than the nvidia's at the moment? I'd like to stick to nvidia due to the 3D potential though it may mean a 2nd hand 7900 but i'll try the 3d thing with my old card first..
