Upgrade for a client

Hey all,

I've got a client here who wishes to upgrade her current rig for her son (he plays games, no idea what though)

Spec:

Athlon 64x2 4400+ (~2.3GHz)
2GB Ram (should be DDR3 right?)
Vista, will be pushing the 7 sell HARD
Model is a 'Compq-Presario GU668AA-ABU SR5219UK :confused:

PSU currently unknown.
Games at 1680x1050.

So what would you guys throw on this to make it a decent rig, I'm not talking METRO material but to pull it's own weight.

4GB RAM.

What graphics is it using? does it have a PCI-E slot for an upgrade?

Ram and gfx card.

I was gonna throw 4GB or ram and maybe something small like a 4000 series or a GT430?

But then the PSU comes into question...
