The motherboard supports DDR3 RAM, so thinking of the following upgrade;

MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti OC Twin FrozR II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - £187.99
OCZ Vertex 2E Bigfoot 120GB 3.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive - £144.99
OCZ Platinum 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit (OCZ3P1333LV4GK) - £26.39
IIyama Prolite E2473HDS 24" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black - £167.99

£541.45 including VAT and shipping.

I did think of a GTX 460, which would save ~70 quid, and a 22" monitor, probably another ~30 quid (currently have 17"), but looking for longevity... thoughts and alternative recommendations appreciated.

My next upgrade when I can afford it (probably quite a while) would be the motherboard and processor.

@mglover070588... yeah, the thread title was probably wrong, the upgrade is in general that I have not upgraded in a long time, and BF3 will more than likely be the next title I buy... I guess it may be worth waiting until nearer the time.

@olivier renault... not sure if the mobo will run 1600MHz RAM, in the manual it says 1333MHz. The SSD is for all round performance, not specifically gaming.

So with roughly the budget I have quoted, what route would people recommend I take for my upgrade?

If someone could change the thread title to something along the lines of "upgrade thread" it would be appreciated...
