Upgrade for LG 65 CX?

Love my TV but I'm greedy for a larger screen for movies, the larger LG is a no brainer but projectors are tempting.

LG 77 C1
or
XGIMI HORIZON Pro with a 120 screen
or
another projector


Anyone got experience going from a TV to projector? max budget £3k.

A larger TV, especially an OLED, which provide you with a better visual quality, but a projector will be a different experience.


What is it you’re going to be using it for? Just movies?

You'll never match the quality of a modern OLED with a projector without going into the 5 figure range. I'd rather go 77" OLED, although I did play with a 1080p projector at 120" and the immersion was pretty nice.
