My current rig is
E6600 C2D
4GB RAM
ATI 4850 512mb
Now I want to upgrade, I have been thinking about waiting for Ivybridge/New GPU's but am caught in 2 minds. When it comes to playing new games like BF3 (I don't mind medium settings at 1650 res), would I be best off
a) Going with new 2500k cpu + mobo + 8GB RAM and waiting till next year for the new GPU's to release to allow me to get a cheaper card
b) Get somethign like a 6950 2GB and waiting till next year to buy a new Ivybridge + mobo etc
c) Save and get both next year when released?
I can't really afford both a new CPU/MOBO/RAM/GPU at the moment so it is either/or at the moment or wait till next year - funds don't allow me to do both i5 + 6950 at the moment
