Upgrade from 1090t

Hello

You can see my current set up in my signature, mostly play bf4 etc. would like to upgrade my CPU which is a 1090t x6. is the fx8 8350 a good choice? I guess I need to upgrade my board too.

Any advice greatly received.

Yes, bf4 runs fine, just fancy an upgrade

If you're upgrading your board, if you can up your budget, you can get an i5 4690K with board from about 230 and that'll be a better fit than an FX8350 + new board with your R9 290.

That said, what resolution do you play at and what games?

if ur going new board I would recommend swapping to intel if you can afford.

Saying that the 8320 is best value for money cpu. It wont give much of a performance boost over a 1090t though.

CPUs hardly change performance wise these days so either go intel or keep what you got
