Morning all,

My partner is trying to upgrade her graphics card from the above with the budget of £190 (max, less is better).

She plays at 1080p and does play top end games.

Currently she is playing Witcher 3 at 1080p medium settings (some high, some low) with a cap of 30fps. She is content with that but higher is obviously better.

Second hand is an option, thanks.

Second hand 780/970 would be a nice upgrade, some pop up on members market.

I'd look at a Maxwell like the 970 on the MM if it's still there rather than the 780.

Better support with DX12 going forward?

It's only for a year, maybe less. So DX12 isn't crucial and she's still on Win 7.

Just won a 780 Windforce 3X OC rev 2.0, which is the same card I used to have, very good one. A bit high for my liking, £190.50. But, it will do and will be worth a little less in 12 months so should get some nice money back.
