Upgrade from 570GTX?

Hi guys,

I bought a Gigabyte Factory Overclocked 570GTX just over a year ago and it's served me well so far, running most things maxed out, or near maxed at 1920*1200. However, I just benchmarked Hitman Absolution maxed out and got an average of 20FPS! In game, however, it's running smooth maxed out, but I foresee the busy outdoor sections (such as the Chinese marketplace in the benchmark) being a problem when i get to it.

What are my options? SLI with another 570, sell my 570 and get a 670? Look at AMD? I guess my budget would be another £150 ... either for a second hand 570 to SLI or to add to whatever I'd get for my 570.

To further complicate matters, what would you suggest if I were to go up to a 2560*1600 resolution in the near future...?

I gone from 580 to 680, to be honest it's not really worth it though i am on 120hz monitor and play BF3 regularly which the 20fps extra would be good for.

If i were you i would wait til March/April for Nvidia's/AMD's next offerings to see what they have as the 570 is still an extremely capable card and also Hitman Absolution runs bad on my 680 maxed aswell it's a driver issue.(disable Global Illumination and Depth of Field options for 25-30 more fps )

Fair point. Like I said, the early missions run like a dream. I might just drop it down a bit if I get a major drop in FPS
