Upgrade from 5870 1GB

Hi all.

Looking at upgrading due to my low 1GB Vram and wonder what is good for £100 to £150 mark. Can be AMD or Nvidia.

I am not very sure what would be good with my AMD 955 CPU.

I have in my system
AMD 955 @3.6
4GB ddr3 @1600
OCZ 600w psu
500GB HD
Titan fenrir X'mas Cooler
cooler master CM-690 II Advanced case.
Monitor 24" 1080p

The 280 with 3GB of vram would be best I think unless the GTX 760 is much faster.

I will read up on both cards though.

I wouldn't bother with a 2GB Nvidia card if you can get the R9 280 3GB. They're both fairly close in performance, but the extra 1GB of ram may make or break a game on higher settings.
