Upgrade from 7800gt

Just looking at getting rid of this card and looking at Powercolour HD 4770 512mb, how much of BIG upgrade if any would it be over 7800gt in % ???

Can pick up the card on the cheap for 50£, any other card on offer which would be better buy than the 4770?? or spend the extra and grab some thing at the 100 mark??

What are the specs of the rest of your system?

As for the power of the 4770 vs the 7800gt, it will be several times faster. However, this can only be realised in games if the rest of the system is up to the task.

i would go for a gtx260 but the 4770 is fine tbh

but the rest of ur system seems fine you just need to overclock your CPU a lil

Yup, system looks good. I dragged out a few old reviews and I believe the 4770 will be about 200-300% faster than your current 7800GT.

Personally, I would spend the extra tenner on this card.
