Hello gang,

currently have the above card, 4gb of ddr2, Q6600 and BF3 if as little shaky...

think now would be a good time for an upgrade.

What do you suggest for around £150? thinking 560ti but that is a little out of my range... anything else worth a look or wait for a bit?

running 1920x1080 by the way.

Thanks in advance,

To get good performance out of BF3 at 1080p for that budget is asking a lot really, it's a very demanding game.

If you shop around you can get a 560Ti for a little over your budget, so hold off on the beers for a little while and you're good to go :)

Thanks for the advice,

so, in short, 560ti would be 'decent' and a good stopgap before a complete rebuild sometime next year?

q6600 oc'd? there may be a bottleneck but youll still have an improvement. Me, im in something of the same predicament, only im going to wait until january to take advantage of the incoming cpu/gpu's.
