Upgrade from 8800GTS?

Hi all

After suggestions for an upgrade from my 8800GTS 320MB card. Want to play GTA4 at 1680 x 1050 with decent detail levels. And Pro Evo 2009 at similar levels. Don't want to go OTT. So spec away!

GTA4 is a big time resource hog. But a budget would help

Can pick up a 4870 1Gb for £180 just now from one etailer.

I had almost the same card as you but just got a GTX280 for £250, not sure how much GTA4 will benefit, seems buggy to me.

At £100 to £150 i'd be looking at the 4850.

A 4850 512mb will be a nice upgrade over the GTS 320mb

Or a 4870 512mb

Although the 1GB 4870 is nice to have...at your res you don't really need it.

I would grab a 4850 or 4870 from the MM
