Upgrade from a 2080 super ?

what would be a good upgrade option from a 2080 super ? thinking on maybe a 4080, depending how much they are, CPU still be ok ? its a ryzen 9 3900x 12 core

Wait and see what AMD bring to the table in November. Hopefully, their arrival will cause a drop in gpu prices (providing they don't screw up their launch by over pricing or lack of stock on launch day, y'know, the usual ) Also read the reviews and see which card, AMD or Nvidia suits your needs and wallet the best

£1276 for a 4080 is a terrible deal, either buy a 4090 which will end up 40-50% faster or wait and see what AMD comes up with.

I’d wait until AMD launches their GPUs then decide prices of current cards should drop too.
The 4070 / 4070 Ti could also be a good option if Nvidia price it cheaper than the (fake) 4080 that they cancelled.
