Hey guys, I am wondering if it is worthwhile upgrading from my crossfire 4890 set up? It doesn't appear on the 2011 Tomshardware charts, so I am not really sure what single card would be a worthwhile upgrade. I am getting a bit fed up about some games not really supporting crossfire very well, and some not at all, making me go back to a single 4890, which has been starting to struggle...

Will I get a significant performance upgrade (from when crossfire works well) if I spend about £200? maybe a 560ti? Maybe a 6950 and flash it to a 6970? Or would I have to spend more than that?

Crossfire 4890 is pretty similar to a HD 6950.

I'd agree with [WU-TANG]GZA and wait a few months for the next gen cards to appear.

Not sure if DX11, less power consumption and slightly more consistant fps is worth the £200+ it would cost. (you'd certainly want the 2048 Mb version).
