Hello guys,

So I currently have a 680 and want to max out new games when they come out like WatchDogs, what would be a worth while upgrade around £250 to £300 mark?

nvidia wise... not much for that price range.

sell your 680, you'll get about £170-220 depending on model and then add on another £300 and get a 780ti

I guess the main specs are:

I5 2500K
680gtx
16gb 1600hz ram
4x 1tb drives for games and such plus a ssd for windows
120hz monitor
750watt psu

That is a tidy system still and I ran a pair of 680's on a 750W PSU with no issues, so it could pay to look for another. That is the cheaper option and you could pick up an EVGA with transferable warranty to ease any RMA thoughts.

If you wanted a good single card upgrade, the 290 is just over your budget at £319 ish and that would be a nice upgrade as well.

2 ideas there anyway :)

An overclocked 2500k will not bottleneck 680 SLI. For the least amount of money this is the absolute best route for maxing your performance. If you're willing to spend a bit more I'd try find a used 780 and clock the fun out of it. Then get another.
