Hi,

Im looking for some help upgrading my graphics card, currently my GTX 970 will play all my games pretty well on ultra, but ive noticed on some newer games such as shadow of the tomb raider im having to drop the settings from ultra to high for a smoother frame rate. Im not bothered about 4k gaming yet as i wont be upgrading to that for a while, so it will be 1080p for now. What would be a good card to replace my GTX 970?

PC Specs:
CPU: A406 - Intel Core i7 4790
CPU Cooler: B102 - BeQuiet! Pure Rock
RAM: C212 - 16GB Corsair 2400mhz Vengeance Pro (2x8GB)

Motherboard: 4247 - Asus Z97-P
Operating System: F105 - Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
Hard Drive: G103 - 2TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s + 240g SSD
Case: K323 - NZXT S340 Black
PSU: K607 - 750W FSP
Internet: G205 - Gigabyte Wireless 802.11AC 867Mbps + Bluetooth PCI-E Card
Sound Card: Q302 - Onboard 7.1 Audio

thank you

Depends on budget - Davedree is right.

1660Ti is a good choice, or Vega 56 if you don't mind a bit of tweaking and the high power requirements.

I recently went from a r9 390 (970 equivalent) to the Vega 64. Has been a great upgrade for the price - my aim was 1440p gaming. For 1080p gaming Vega 56 would do stellar job. Or 1660Ti if you are wanting to stick with Nvidea.

Again as said above, depends on your budget.
