I have an itch to upgrade my 5 year old D3100 camera to something a little newer.
Don't really need loads of new features, but would just like something newer.
Camera is used purely as a hobby, landscapes, wildlife etc if that helps in any suggestions.

Budget, probably between £300 - £500 & would like to stay with nikon as I have several lens already.
Happy to look at second hand bodies as well as this was a couple of years old when I had its been faultless.

What do you find the limitation of the D3100? if you don;t need more features then i'm not sure its worth upgrading TBH, put the money in to lenses.

I'd upgrade for built in Wi-Fi and more importantly, a much better LCD screen. The dot count on those older screens makes for nasty viewing on the move and it's difficult to review your images. Something like a d5500 would be a big upgrade.
