upgrade from AMD Ryzen 2600

I’ve just upgraded from a 2600 to a 3700x

Can you tell the difference? im looking at moving up from my 1700

But I sold my 2600 for £125 few weeks back so for £190 upgrade cost I thought Why not !

It was always my intention of going 8/16 or 12/24 Ryzen the 2600 was a stop gap..

Hi

I currently have a stock AMD Ryzen 2600 and TUF B450M-PLUS mobo with a Vega 64 card

I'm slightly confused around the performance increase if I upgraded to a

3600X or 3700X Ryzen running on my B450 board

I hear that the Ryzen 7 would benefit from the X570 3700X and not the Ryzen 5 3600X

Also what is the performance increase from a 2600 to 3600X

I'm only gaming on this PC

Skip this gen and buy the next one, upgrade your GPU with a custom 5700XT instead. Should be out next month.

hmmm im tempted to drop from the 1700 to 3600, i wonder if its worth paying the additional for the 3700?
