Upgrade from an 8800GTX

Thanks Coolasmoo. Using Vista 64, so will give that a go. Guru3d also have a driver clean up tool for this.
 
I just made the switch from HD 4870 1GB to a GTX 460 768MB cos my 4870 started dying - crashed high end games. Hope the change over goes smoothly. Its coming tmrw and ive got the nvidia driver ready to install :)

Just bare in mind that most of the current 5850's are non-reference (not like the ones at launch), so the voltage cannot be tweaked. If you are unlucky enough to recieve a 5850 which the stock voltage is low, it might not reach 5870 speed on overclock.

Which is why it's worth waiting for 6850 and see what it's make of.
