It depends on a lot of things. Your PC spec would be helpful to make a more accurate assessment.

The GTX 460 has a good overclocking headroom also from what I've seen but I'm not 100% on that.
It's a decent jump on the graphic card alone regardless of specs. The 4850 was the equivalent to the 8800GTX. As you'll see in the link above the GTX 460 towers over the 4850
