Hey Guys,

I'll admit to have only done limited research on some new monitors, mainly because I've found that most of the reviews you find can be quite subjective. I've stood in front of monitors in shops where I've read a positive review before-hand and thought "what a piece of junk", hence I'm here to garner some opinion and advice on some new display hardware.

So here's what I have ... currently a Dell ST2410, it was bought a couple of years ago and has been very reliable and gives an acceptable 1920x1080 res image. I do quite a lot of gaming, including stuff like BF3, WoW, etc, but it also gets used for any number of office type applications too.

I also have a 2nd display set up which is just an old NEC 19" 4:3 ratio panel which I use just for putting up web pages, TV, itunes, whatever whilst I'm working/gaming.

These are driven by a single KFA2 GTX670 OC which I'm considering replacing with a couple of reference GTX670 in SLI with waterblocks to include in my custom loop.

The reason I'm considering an upgrade is this - I fancy giving 3D gaming a go. No real need, just thought it would be worth a crack. Also thinking of getting 2 identical screens to replace the aging 19" screen I'm also using.

My son has an old Asus 23" 16:9 panel which will only display 1680x1050 which is driven by a Radeon 6970, so he'd love my old screen as it's an obvious upgrade for him.

Any suggestions? Budget is not an issue and if someone thinks there is some great value to be had then I'll get 2 of them. I'm also considering the possibility going upto something like 27" and a higher res.
