Upgrade from DG834G v3 to v4 now cant play steam games

Hmm i cant play TF2, upgraded from DG834Gv3 to v4.. did all port forwarding and any steam games just stutters, no video movement and just tiny bites of sound :/ (v3 still works fine with steam games)

WoW works on the v4 no problems, not got many other net games :/

Can anyone help?

What firmware are you running?

If it's 5.01.14 then change it to 5.01.09

I use a DG834G V4 and 5.01.14 has untold problems and a lot of them are to do with gaming it seems as it messed up my xbox live and I've read on other forums about people having problems with the PS3 network also. 5.01.09 is spot on

Had the exact same problem here.

Major lagging in TF2 and many times froze. As soon as I downgraded to 5.01.09, TF2 was flying along.

yeah its all perfect now even using WLAN on my N95 works again, before it would be choppy just like TF2...

annoying firmware "UPGRADE"
