I got my q6600 on ebay for £105 new, OEM but whats the difference really.

I have an original gigabyte 965 DS3 rev 1.0 board and upgraded from a C2d 6300 to Q6600 - well worth while - games are far quicker whilst running a numbers of programmes concurrently causes the system no probs.. - well worth while

You need the F12 BIOS to install a Q6600, well worth it.
