Hi guys,

Currently have an E6850 and the rest in sig and it sits happily at 3.6ghz. I built a system for a friend with the E8500 and it seemed to overclock a lot easier and he gets better fps at the same clock when converting video files.

I was just wondering if it would be worth me switching to an e8500? Or what other chips are out there? And how much do the E6850 go for 2nd hand?

Thanks.

Thanks for the advise lads. Only thing about the g/c is, I use a 19" syncmaster @ 1440x900 and the only game is play is css, would you still say it is worth while getting a new card? Also I've also only ever been with Nvidia, but i've seen the ati, 4850 is it? is getting a lot of hype as of late? Is this a better card than the geforce 260?
