Upgrade from GTX680 SLI

Hi Guys

I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my GTX680 SLI cards - normally I jump a gen so would have been looking at a GTX980 but I'm not sure there is enough value in doing that.

Is it actually a step up to a single card GTX980? The R9 295X2 seems to have an aggressive price - or should I hold fire until the next gen?? Decisions, decisions - any advice welcome..........

You're right I'm not struggling at the moment - I might wait for the R9 390 and see where they put that in the price vs performance market before I jump.

The only thing was seeing the R9 295X2 at around the £550 mark looked pretty appealing
