upgrade from H50

hia im looking to upgrade my cooler from H50.

its cooling a 920 at 4.2ghz but looking for a cooler to tame it with HT enabled.

will be upgrading to new cpu etc some time next year.

was looking at refurbished H100. will that offer a performance increase over H50?

could you recommend anything else???

I went from a H50 to a H100 refurb a few months ago.

At 4.4Gh its keeping my 3770K between 29C - 35C at idle. Load sees about 75C across all 4 cores. That's with the stock corsair fans as supplied and using the middle speed setting on the pump.

I couldn't tell you what the 3770K temps were on the H50 as I had a 2500K when I had a H50.

I git a refurb h80 and fitted two SP120 fans in push pull configuration, keeps my 3770k at 4.5ghz at 20-22c at idle and 75 under load (P95 and intro burn test) and peaks at 60c in game.

Yes it had the compound pre applied

just installed H100. temps are a lot better.

one of the fans however seems to be rattling slightly, vibrating.

any ideas as to why?

i didn't screw all screws into radiator btw. do you think that could be causing it??
